Store hours

Reston Town Center, Reston’s main shopping district, had not posted its 2026 holiday or Black Friday hours on its website when this page was checked. Individual stores set their own hours, and many post them only a week or two ahead. This page will add hours as each center publishes them. Our new businesses page tracks stores and restaurants that have opened recently.

Parking and traffic at Reston Town Center

The town center’s garages follow its published parking rules:

  • First hour free in the garages.
  • Free Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
  • Free all day Saturday, Sunday and federal holidays.
  • Otherwise up to 1 hour is $3 and up to 2 hours is $6, paid through the ParkRTC app or a pay station. Some stores validate.

Thanksgiving Day is a federal holiday; Black Friday is not, so daytime rates apply on Friday after the first hour. On parade day, plan to arrive early or come by Metro: the Silver Line’s Reston Town Center station serves the town center. See getting around Reston for the bus and Metro options, and our parade and tree lighting page for the route and timing.

Fairfax Connector runs a holiday weekday schedule on Friday, Nov. 27; only routes on the county’s holiday list run.
