Three of Reston’s Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants are at Reston Town Center: bartaco on Town Square Street, Uncle Julio’s on Library Street and a Chipotle on Freedom Drive. The rest are along Sunset Hills Road and its side streets, in South Lakes Village Center and on Baron Cameron Avenue near North Point.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Reston census boundary (Reston is unincorporated, so it has no city limits), the same records that feed our local business directory. We checked each one against its own website on Oct. 23, 2026. We added Taco Bell from its own location page. Uncle Julio’s site did not show its Reston hours to us, so its listing in the Reston Town Center directory confirms it instead. California Tortilla at North Point is left off: its Reston page no longer exists and its locations list has no Reston store. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. If you run one of these places and something is wrong, write to us.

bartaco. A taco restaurant on Town Square Street at Reston Town Center. The center’s directory describes street-food-inspired tacos, rice bowls and fresh guacamole. Its own page lists a kitchen that opens at 11 a.m. daily and runs late, with a weekday happy hour.

Chipotle, Freedom Drive. The chain’s Reston Town Center restaurant, listed in the center’s directory. It serves burritos, tacos, bowls and salads made to order.

Chipotle, South Lakes Drive. The chain’s restaurant in South Lakes Village Center, with the same burritos, bowls and tacos and slightly earlier closing.

Chipotle, Sunset Hills Road. The chain’s third Reston restaurant, on Sunset Hills Road, with the same menu and online ordering for pickup.

Senor Ramon Taqueria. A taqueria on Baron Cameron Avenue with online ordering. It lists the same hours every day of the week.

Taco Bell. The chain’s Reston restaurant on Roger Bacon Drive, off Sunset Hills Road. Its page lists tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos and a value menu, with a drive-thru that stays open after midnight every night.

Taco Zocalo. A Northern Virginia taco chain with six locations, one of them on Michael Faraday Drive. Its site lists tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, enchiladas and birria, made fresh daily, and catering.

Uncle Julio’s. A border-style Mexican cantina on Library Street at Reston Town Center that the center lists as open daily for lunch and dinner, with mesquite-grilled food and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
